Access to Beautiful View

Irvington Road provides us with access to Santa Cruz River Park. It is a street that opens our eyes to a beautiful view of the beauty of nature. There seems to be projects, park improvement, projects happening here. A few shops and food places are located here, not as many as you can find on othe...

"Streets Overpowered By Apartment Buildings"

I visited this street in the passing, but in all honesty there is nothing that would inspire me to stay/stop over and check it out in depth. Perhaps I am wrong, as I am just a tourist, but the street had a negative vibe. It was crowded with apartment buildings, not nice architecturally composed bu...

Has a place to drop off the kids, and plenty of art and culture within walking distance.

If you need a place to drop off the kids for awhile the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Angel youth center is a great location. There are also some great art galleries to explore nearby if that sort of thing is for you. MOCA, the Museum of Contemporary Art, was definitely the best of the bunch, even th...

This is the place for college students, or sick people.

If your planning on attending one of the nearby colleges such as Pima Community college, you will be spending alot of time eating on this street. With delicious mexican food, or more conveinent fast food there's alot to eat.

Your also conveintly located near St Mary's Hospital‎, great place in c...

Only recommended for nightowls.

Let me start off by saying; I did not feel safe walking down this street late at night. That being said there is plenty to do in this area, but unfortunatly it's mostly bars so you need to come at night, so in a way its a catch 22, safe and boring by day, dangerous but entertaining by night. The tra...

A definite stop, if you know where to look.

It may be crammed in between alot of other streets, but nevertheless it has it's own sense of touch. It has a definite feel of mexican heritage in the buildings and food. Toma and El Charro, are just two examples of fine mexican resturants found on the street, though personally I perfer El Charro, a...

Plenty of smells and colors to draw you in.

This is a long and contemporary street. Running through both buisnesses and residential areas the street gives you a way to look at the entire city in one look.

To be honest the last time I saw it, it was quiet and clean. From what I've been hearing from relatives is entirerly different, the tra...

This is the place to do your shopping

With a fun vibrant atmosphere, and plenty of places to shop or sit your tushy down, it's difficult not to enjoy this part of the city. East Congress (and Congress St itself) is a pretty long street, with plenty of sites to take in, even if the traffic gets a little dense.

Nothing to see here, move on to another street.

This street is empty, and since I'm only talking about places to visit or things to do on this street, I can't really say much of anything. It's near a memorial park, but that's actually on another street, the only reason to come here is so you can drive on by.

Not much to do but plenty to see on this street.

The street may be short, but somehow it managed to get itself squeezed between a memorial and the Tucson Children's Museum. So if you need a place where the kids can burn some sugar off, this is definitly the place. Another plus is the light traffic, quiet and somewhat safe.

Hungry? Your on the right street.

This is the street to hit if your looking for some morning coffee or a quick lunch. The noise and pedestrian traffic may be a con to some, but it gives a sense of life to the street that makes it seem like a small town in and of itself.
