The Tom Ridge neighborhood is ok. But the parish needs to put up a speed limit sign. It has alot of kids that live here and they need to be protected from the speeding cars that come in and out sometimes. Maybe speed bumps need to be put in. I am worried for my children playing and going to friends...

Growing fast, but still retains rural feel

There are many new neighborhoods and a number of older homes along S Harrells Ferry.
They range from subsidized apartments to estates.
Highest Fire Department rating in the country, which helps with insurance.
Baton Rouge schools are improving and there are a number of private schools nearby.

basicly quiet street

our street is basicly a quiet street. the neighbors sort of keep to them selves or are indoors. no loud music or constant partying. not much traffic.

This area is one of the best in Denham Springs. Great mix of people, Old and young. Kids play outside and people walk the sidewalks even late at night. The topo is one of the highest in this area so there is NO flooding what so ever.

Avant road is a nice place to live. The area has gone through a major growth spell in the past few years, but it is still a nice quiet area.
