The Neighborhood of Williamsburg
Williamsburg has seen its ups and downs over the years. The price of real estate rose then fell. If you go into Williamsburg today you will notice a number of unfinished condo developments.
Despite the changing enconomy, there is one thing that never seemed to change and that is the kids. You will find a mixture of different age groups here. There is a large amount of students here. Recent grads and young adults are mixed in as well.
The town was originally named the Village of Williamsburgh in 1827. Williamsburg has a lot of history to it that should make one interesting places in North Brooklyn to visit, even if for just a few hours.
