"Small town charm, but developing very rapidly."
This street is a major artery from the suburbs to the cities of New Albany and Louisville for a great deal of Floyd and Harrison counties. Unfortunately, it has had a great deal of development take place since it was first conceived and built. While all attributes of small town charm are present, such as farm houses, livestock, and gardens clearly visible along its route, it is also dappled with commerce and large housing developments that cause a great deal of traffic during the morning and evening rush hours. While the majority of the road is 50 MPH posted speed, congestion rarely makes that possible. Overall this is a safe and quiet area, however.
