Lawton St
"One of the busier streets in Sunset"
Lawton Street is a long street located in the Sunset district. It runs from the beach all the way to 7th Ave. It is home to the sunset rec center, which is usually pretty popular with ping pong, basketball, tennis, and baseball players. Also it is home to Lawton school and Alice Fong Yu school. Its is usually a pretty safe street. It is quiet most of the time. It has access to many muni buses and the N line is a couple blocks away. It is close to many businesses. I would recommend families to live on this street.

Lawton St
"Just a quiet and friendly street"
Lawton Street in the Sunset District is mostly quiet and boring. There is Lawton Middle School, but as I know, there is pretty much nothing there. The houses there look almost exactly the same. All of the houses are white outside and small. There are no restaurants, parks, entertainment centers, etc. No bus line runs through Lawton Street and the streets are mostly empty all the time. When I drove by there, I saw beautiful lawns and nice small gardens in front many houses, but that is about it. I can’t find anything interesting about the street and is not worth going to in my opinion.

"Sterotypical Residential Street"
This street is a great residential street due to its friendly neighbors and accessible public transportation. There are 3 schools around this street, which are Holy Name, Lawton Alternative, and Francis Scott Key Elementary School. Lawton and Francis Scott Key are California distinguished schools. There is also a Christian church located on 43rd and Lawton, so if you would like to worship Jesus, it would be easy to. Public transportation can get you to many places. The 19 goes from Stonestown Shopping Center to Paul and 3rd street. The 18 goes from Legion of Honor to Stonestwon Shopping Center, which is quite useful if you live towards the ocean. A couple of blocks of walking can also get you to the N-Judah, which can take you downtown, and also the 71, which goes up Noriega.

Lawton St
"Very quiet and peaceful street, somewhat a commuter's road."
Lawton Street runs from the Great Highway to 7th Avenue. Lawton Street is yet another peaceful residential street. However, those living on Lawton Street many often hear a car zipping by as many commuters tend to make a turn onto Lawton Street from Sunset Boulevard. Another reason that many cars go up and down Lawton Street is because Holy Name Private School, Lawton Middle School, and Alice Fong Yu Elementary School resides on Lawton Street. Lawton Street is a very “hilly” street and for those who love a work out, you’re in for one when you go up Lawton Street.

Lawton St
"Plan street in the sunset district"
Lawton is a just another regular street in the sunset district and doesn’t really have anything to offer. But Lawton is very peaceful and nothing bad is usually going on here. It starts at ocean beach and ends all the way at the end of the subset district. If you want to have a nice quiet walk this is a nice place to visit. Lawton is mostly full of houses and apartments I don’t think Lawton has any stores but is right next to Noriega so you don’t have to walk to far to get where you need to go.

"Great street in San Francisco's premiere Sunset District!"
Lawton Street is along the lines of yet another ordinary street in the Sunset District of San Francisco but much more! Lawton Street begins at 7th Avenue and does not end all the way until The Great Highway (49th Avenue). The street runs perpendicular to Ocean Beach so biking or jogging down Lawton all the way to the beach is always an option.
Lawton primarily consists of residential housing; however, there are two middle schools, Lawton Middle School, and Holy Name. Lawton is a public middle school located on 30th Avenue and Lawton. While Holy Name is a K-8 private school located on 40th Avenue and Lawton. They are both very fine schools and good options for your kids if living on nearby houses.
Lawton is also a cross street to Sunset Recreational Park which has a full sized indoor basketball court, lots of outdoor courts, and plenty of green! The kids will always have somewhere to play if you live close by. The housing on Lawton isn’t anything out of the ordinary compared to the rest of the Sunset homes. Although plenty of space for a family, the houses are the biggest.
