"Plain business parks and not much else"
Crocker Park is a slim piece of land located within the city. Most of the area is fitted along the hillside between San Bruno Mountain State Park and the San Francisco Bay. The neighborhood itself encompasses about three long, windy blocks. It’s mostly known for anchoring a handful of single-story, somewhat anonymous commercial buildings. This business sector is home to such random companies/headquarters as Crafts Foods, William-Sonoma and a couple IT firms. Moreover, most of these businesses are situated on small campuses or office parks which are then accompanied by convenient employee parking options.
Both San Francisco International Airport and Candlestick Park are within close proximity of Crocker Park. Candlestick is situated just a couple miles north of the district’s limits while residents can traverse along State Route 101 for their long distance travels. Elsewhere, the Caltrain tracks skirt the eastern edge of the city. Bayshore Caltrain station is the district’s closest stop. The rail connects residents to the greater San Francisco area as well as the popular job hub of San Jose.
For young families, the Lipman Middle School straddles the southern side of the neighborhood. The school provides a swimming pool, tennis courts and a baseball/soccer field (all at the public’s disposal). For outdoor exercise, Crocker Park Recreational Trail loops around the district. The largest option is San Bruno Mountain State Park. The grand parkland offers miles of hiking trails and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.

"Glam, Germs and Ice Cream"
Crocker Park is one of the two main business sectors located in Brisbane, where all of the company headquarters are located and the main reason why the population of Brisbane more than doubles during most weekdays. In the Crocker Park section of Brisbane you will find the distributer for Bi-Rite Markets—whose ice cream has achieved its own fame in the Mission; the SF headquarters for the French women’s clothing store, bebe; Glam Media—famous for its women’s website of the same name and for Askmen.com, its XY manifestation; and the headquarters for a vaccination development company VaxGen.
Driving through it just looks like a pretty average hillside office park, nothing much to it. The economic boon to area, however, has also meant the sustenance for a strip mall on the eastern end where the local workers can enjoy Terriyaki, a Subway sandwich or Italian at Mangiere.
At night the area is virtually a ghost town, except for the security guards that keep watch over some of the companies.
