Abercorn St
"Crowded yet comforting with a great historic feel."
If you love to see history alive in front of your eyes, visit Calhoun Square on Abercorn Street in the historic district of Savannah Georgia. The drive through takes you back into a time that was slower paced, free of crime, and filled with wonder . There is so much to do and see. There are trolley cars that include a live person giving you a verbal explanation of all the sites. There are beautiful trees, shrubs, flowers, fountains, statues and great architecture. The old buildings are wonderful and learning about the history of this great city was a pleasure! The only bad part is that it can get quite crowded in the prime time months of summer, but everyone that comes is interested in the same thing, so everyone just enjoys it together.
