What are the schools like in Albany Park, Chicago?

When looking at test scores for schools in the Albany Park area they rank only as average. This means that there are schools in the Chicago area that are better and their are schools that are worse. Hibbard Elementary school has very high praise from parents for their after school programs, student accountability and overall parental involvement.

I've heard the schools in Albany Park are pretty nice. I don't have any kids, so I can't speak from experience, but I don't think it's half bad. While technically not really in Albany Park, North Park University is also right nearby. It isn't a top flight university, but it's decent.
