The Lake Wobegon® Trail is a 28-mile long, 10-foot wide bituminous trail, which links the communities of Sauk Centre, Melrose, Freeport, Albany, Holdingford, and Avon, and is designed for bicycles, walking, snowmobiles, roller blades, skateboards, jogging, and roller skies. Albany's trail head, located at the Legion Memorial Park, provides access to and from the trail, serves as an accessible location for emergency vehicles, provides a location for education and information, and includes a parking area, toilet facilities and picnic area.
