"Great residential street close to main avenue and much more!"
Altura Way is a great street for families. Quiet, with little traffic and a good neighborhood feel without being too cramped. Very close to Kaiser hospital, within 5 to 10 minutes walking or driving. Also within 5 to 10 minutes walking or driving to the local SSF Bart Station - very convenient for commuters or students. Only a 15 to 20 minute drive from San Francisco - great for being able to experience city life and the relaxation of a nice residential area at the same time. Just minutes from El Camino Real, you can easily drive to local Tanforan and Serramonte malls in about 10 to 20 minutes - great for running errands, shopping at Target, or for restaurants like BJ's Brewhouse or Marie Calender's. There are two local schools within minutes - Buri Buri Elementary and Alta Loma - both have parks with basketball courts and baseball fields. You can walk from Altura to either location with your kids, or to shoot hoops or play catch on the grass. Weather is typical for the Bay Area - not too hot or cold, overcast. Nice 3+ bedroom/2+ bathroom homes and ample parking space on the street and driveways.
