Disneyland or Disneyworld? - family vacation

I'm looking to take a vacation to the states in the next 6 months and am looking to visit either LA or Orlando primarily because of Disneyworld\Disneyland. I've heard Disneyworld is much much better. I know it's a lot bigger, but it's also on the other side of the US. Is it worth the longer trip?

Without a doubt, Disneyworld is 100 times better if you want to take an extended vacation. You really wouldnt spend any more than 1 day at Disneyland but Disneyworld you can easily spend a week. You could do 1 day in Epcot, another in the Magic Kingdom, 1 in MGM Studios and another in Animal Kingdom. If you go in peak season you would need more as the rides can take up to 2 hours to get on. Dont forget you can get a Fastpass which gives you allocated seating at a particular time. Yes, it takes another 5 hours t get across the country but it's worth it. If you have any questions about Disneyworld I'm your man, been there 5 times.

DisneyWorld - only because you can go to Universal Studios Florida (which is better than all of them). The rides are not so childish.

Hi Goku,

I have been to both and you really cannot compare them because Disneyworld kicks it's ass. It's HUGE! There's about 4 main parks each the size of disneyland in LA.

Don't get me wrong, LA disney is awesome, but not compared to Orlando. Besides Universal Studios is in Orlando which is sooooo kick ass as well.
