What are some non-traditional things to do on a Friday night in Arvada?

Something more than just seeing a movie or going out to a chain restaurant?

Arvada is blessed to have a plethora of walking/bike trails throughout the city. Walking, roller blading, biking would be a great way to see the outdoors and get some exercise on a Friday or Saturday, day or early evening. Arvada also has numerous neighborhood parks where you could go fly your kite. Not just something for the youngsters.
