What kind of things are there to do at Welton Reservoir in Arvada?

Is it just a reservoir or are boats allowed? Is there a swim beach? Is it family friendly? Are open containers allowed?

My current impression is that Welton is primarily a water storage reservoir, and a fishing site. Maybe more, as it develops. If you want boating them you might consider Standley Lake(Summer only) which is just across the border in Westminster.
