Downtown Decatur vs Downtown Atlanta - How different are these places?

Both areas are great in their own right. I'd say the main difference is that Downtown Decatur has more of a pleasant "small town" kind of vibe, with lots of little boutiques and mom and pop stores. On the other hand, Downtown Atlanta has a "big city" vibe, with tall buildings and those kind of things. I also think that Downtown Decatur is a lot cleaner and safer feeling than Downtown, Atlanta... Certain parts of Downtown, Atlanta can get a little rough.. Good luck!
