How safe is the Vine City area? Looking to invest in a house.

I'm looking to purchase some investment property; I'm trying to decide between several Atlanta neighborhoods. How is the Vine City neighborhood? Is it worth the investment or should I look elsewhere? I know that the prices are really good there, please share your thoughts. Thanks.
