What is the best city to live in about 30 minutes outside of Atlantic City (toward Philadelphia)?

Moving from Las Vegas, NV as my husband got into Philadelphia University's Atlantic City campus. We will need to find a place to live between the two cities, probably 30 minutes outside of Atlantic City. We will be coming with a newborn and need a family friendly area for young professionals. Any suggestions please!
