bakersfield is like stockton and fresno... you only go there if you have too... otherwise it's just a rough dead end town where you can find yourself in trouble... put it this way, in the 3 towns I mention, no matter what neighborhood your in, there is a ghetto within the next 5 blocks....

Well it doesn't have the best ranking - #61 in all of California, so perhaps you are right lanzedom. Now that the neighborhood rankings are in however, it looks like Park Stockdale is #1 in Bakersfield as voted by the people.
