The Westchester in White Plains is probably the closest. The Danbury Fair Mall has more options for shopping for the kids. Both great.

It all depends on what you are looking for. The Westchester is a mall, I grant you, but it is an upscale mall like no other in the area. It can be not only a convenient but also a relaxing and lovely way to shop. Lots of designer boutiques, Michael Kors, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Lilly Pulitzer, Cole Hann, Coach, Hugo Boss, Eileen Fisher...to name a few along with Nordstorms and Neiman Marcus at each end of the mall. Bloomindales is down the road a bit and Mary Jane Denzer is just up the road on Mamaroneck Avenue.
A more modest mall would be The Galleria with anchor stores, Sears and Macys, also with manyother fine stores and shops more commonly found in other malls mentioned by others above.

The Galleria or the Westchester are in the heart of the county. However, walking outside in downtown Greenwich CT can be a nice alternative. Many stores are the same as the mall..J Crew, The Gap, Tiffany & Co, Restoration Hardware, and Victoria's Secret. Saks Fifth Avenue has a very exclusive boutique like store there as well.

There is also great shopping to be had in downtown Mt Kisco - just a quick 5-10 minute drive from Bedford.

PRO Yes, especially great for The Gap, Banana Republic, etc. without having to go to a Mall. Something to be said for strolling through a town! Also with many restaurant choices in lieu of a Food Court!

Yes, Danbury Mall is great - plus they do not charge for Parking! If you would like more unusual personalized shopping, Katonah offers many unique stores. Chain stores are not allowed!

Probably the Galleria or the Westchester, though Danbury Fair is probably not too much further. Also, Danbury Fair is easier to get in an out of compared to the malls in White Plains.
