How does Beekman compare safety-wise to other Dutchess County towns?

Favorably. According to 2010 crime index rates, Beekman's crime rate is at about half that of Dutchess County's average. Instances of violent crime are quite rare here, where as they are higher in towards Poughkeepsie. About the only area where there's any significant crime at all is larceny, but even though it's a little above Dutchess's average, it's still below the state average.

This is a very safe town overall.
