Thoughts on Loveland community?

We are considering moving from N. Ky to Loveland and would love an insiders perspective on the community feel. Our sacrifice wld be giving up close proximity to family and moving away from friends. Should we consider it anyway?

I definitely recommend Loveland. It is a lovely community with good schools. I lived in Loveland for a number of years and it is full of some great neighborhoods. I have a number of friends who still live in Loveland. Housing in Loveland pretty much runs from super affordable to really expensive with everything in between, it just depends on where you choose to live. There are apartments, condos, old houses, new houses, ranch houses, large houses, you pretty much can find it all.

The downtown area of Loveland has a number of businesses and restaurants and the Loveland Bike Trail, as well as Nesbit Park. There a a number of homes that are within walking distance of this area. There is a Kroger in Loveland and a number of other shops in the several strip malls along Loveland-Madeira Road. You are also in close proximity to the Kroger in Miami Township, as well as the one at Harper's Point. Loveland is also in close proximity to all of the amenities of the Fields Ertel area.

Neighbors are friendly, and if you have kids, there are neighborhoods full of them as Loveland is a large school district. Loveland falls into the three counties of Hamilton, Clermont and Warren. Parts of Miami, Deerfield, and Symmes Township are all considered to be Loveland. If you live within the Loveland city limits, you will pay income taxes, so you might want to consider a Loveland address in one of the township areas. Loveland has areas with more country-like settings and large properties, as well as smaller houses in closer proximity. It really just depends what you're looking for and can afford, but you should easily be able to find a nice place in Loveland.

Overall, I would definitely recommend living in Loveland over Northern Kentucky, despite the distance from family and friends...it's not like its really that far and the area has so much to offer. I'm sure you will love the area and won't have any problems making new sets of friends. So, if I were you, I would definitely consider it.
