"a little bit of paradise tucked into the city"
Well known in the region for quiet neighborhoods, winding roads, historic appeal, and lovely cottages all the way up to million dollar estates, the Bluffview neighborhood of Dallas is an excellent choice for families with children, retirees, and anyone needing a respite from the busy and bustling city. No matter the size of the home, meticulous landscaping is the order of the day here and it's safe enough for children to play in the streets under the watchful eye of helpful neighbors.
While the district is served by the Dallas Independent School District, there are several choices in private schools nearby for parents exploring this option. The Holy Trinity Catholic School has served this neighborhood since 1914, and offers early education for pre-school through the 8th grade. There are several dining choices on the border of this neighborhood along West Lovers Lane to the south and Northwest Highway to the north, including steak, burgers, and Oriental. Shopping can be found just to the east of the neighborhood at Preston Center, or a bit further east with the high-end stores and shops at Northpark Mall.
A true small town neighborhood feel in the heart of the city, Bluffview is a great choice for families with children.
