guess cuz of all the big rocks. to review the Native American history of our town I suggest reading Left hand, the last chief of the Arapahoes.

Its funny I can't find any real answer to that question? There is of course Boulder Valley, Boulder city and Boulder Creek and Boulder Canyon. It may just be as obvious as the flatirons, huge boulders in our backyard? Let me know if you find a real answer?
