Is there a yearly ice festival in Breckenridge?

I've been to an ice sculpting festival a couple of times and was interested in taking my kids, does anyone know if it still takes place? I thought it was in Breckenridge.

Yes, there is an annual snow and ice sculpting festival in Breckenridge!! This is an event that has grown in popularity and is highly attended. This year, the event starts with the building of the snow/ice blocks the weekend of Jan. 14 through Jan 18, 2013. The actual sculpting begins Jan. 22 and runs through Jan. 28, 2013 with viewing ending Feb. 3, 2013. You can view at anytime, but the best viewing is usually toward the end of the sculpting period.

Here are the locations of the sculptures from the GoBreck.com website: The Snow Sculptures are located in the area around the Riverwalk Center at 150 West Adams Avenue, Breckenridge, CO 80424. The competition sculptures are in the Riverwalk Center (Tiger Dredge) parking lot and the sponsor/exhibition sculptures are spread onto the "lawn" just north of the Riverwalk Center and across the river in the Blue River Plaza adjacent to Main Street. Event Headquarters are in the Riverwalk Center.

Have fun, dress warm and wear shoes with good traction!
