Would you recommend the Burnside neighborhood in Chicago for singles?

Not really. Burnside is pretty far away from the more exciting and fun parts of Chicago, and the crime rate is above average. I'd look elsewhere.

Burnside isn't a particularly safe neighborhood and there really isn't much to do. If you're looking for an affordable place to live, I suppose it would fit the bill, but I wouldn't live there--single or otherwise.
