Candler Park is a pretty safe neighborhood. Most of the area is extremely well-maintained, and the people here seem to have a nice close-knit community. A lot of folks relocate here specifically to be near the park. Candler Park offers beautiful lush green spaces, playgrounds, picnic areas, tennis courts, golfing courses, and a swimming pool. There are also several wonderful trails, perfect for walking or biking. All of these great perks, make this neighborhood child-friendly and dog-friendly. There are also several yearly events (festivals and non-profit walks) held in this area. I must clarify, that although this park may sound like it has a lot going on (by what I just stated), Candler Park is actually one of the more quieter, tucked away parks in Atlanta. It is not nearly as busy or as noisy as the extremely popular... Piedmont Park. So, don't worry yourself too much. This is an excellent neighborhood to live in. It also has some nice schools nearby, if you happen to have school age children. Plus, it's only minutes away from other popular Atlanta attractions. You should visit your specific block during different times of the day and night to get the most accurate idea of what to expect if you move into this community. Over all, I'd definitely recommend this neighborhood. Good luck!
