Is Castle Rock a good place to raise kids?

Castle Rock is a great place to raise kids. The town is incredibly safe compared to other places that are of similar size. Families in Castle Rock have a sense of community that I cherish and love seeing here. The schools are ranked very high in national standings, in fact Newsweek ranked Douglas County High School one of the top 2000 high schools in the nation!

In my opinion yes. The schools are good and it seems like a very family oriented town. We lived there when my youngest was little and she never lacked finding good kids to play or hang out with. There is also a great rec center that has everything you could want plus an indoor water park for kids with slides, a lazy river, and more. The crime rate in Castle Rock is also well below the national average. I wouldn't hesitate moving back there if my husband worked in that part of town.
