"Heaven--with a steep price tag"

The peaceful retreat for Washington's professionals.

Slightly less traffic than its bustling neighbor, Bethesda. Chevy Chase suffers from a lack of nightlife options, however. The location is excellent for those who commute into the district for work. Similarly, there is quick access to the luxury shopping district of Friendship Heights. While the sky is the limit for home sizes here, the price tag is unfortunately limitless too.

This place is home to a very bored police department due to minimal crime. It is not uncommon to be pulled over by TWO police cars for a routine traffic light or moving violation. Beware the speeding cameras that abound! This reviewer speaks from experience.
