Are there any nice upper class neighborhoods that are dog/kid friendly in Chicago?

I'd definitely recommend Lincoln Park if you're looking for something richer but still fun. I've seen a lot of dogs in the area, and a fair number of kids. There are some really good schools nearby as well, and of course the Lincoln Park zoo is something totally worthwhile to see. Give it a look and you won't be disappointed, but it is an expensive place to live so beware.
