Free eBook about Chicago Neighborhoods
Just heard about this on the local news last night. A book called "Eat, Play, Love Chicago" has just come out and it's all about Chicago's wonderful neighborhoods. Not just a history lesson although it's included as background/introduction. More focus on what they are today and featuring some hidden gems (architecture, dining, shopping, etc.).
The print version costs $54 bucks. But you can download an electronic version - complete with photos - for FREE from the City of Chicago's website

I immediately went there, downloaded a PDF version and started reading it last night. It's fascinating! And the photos are beautiful.
