Obscure/Special Interest Chicago Museums
Aside from the world-famous and popular Chicago museums, I've come across a few of these special interest/obscure museums that might be of interest to others. General admission is either free or cheap (Less than $20/person).

National Museum of Mexican Art - http://www.nationalmuseumofmexicanart.org/
Polish Museum of America - http://www.polishmuseumofamerica.org/v4/EnglishVersion/PMAHome.htm
National Helenic (Greek) Museum - http://www.nationalhellenicmuseum.org/
Italian American Sports Hall of Fame - http://www.niashf.org/
DuSable Museum of African American History - http://www.dusablemuseum.org/
Chinese American Museum of Chicago - http://www.ccamuseum.org/
Irish American Heritage Center/Museum - http://irish-american.org/
I'm sure there are MANY more Chicago museums that have been around for a long time. We have a LOT of history! I'm sure there is also a fire museum, a maritime museum, a police museum, an architecture museum, and many others dedicated to the many historical facets of this FABULOUS city! I just haven't gotten to them yet. (So much to see and do; so little time!)
