Thanksgiving Peninsula Style
Holidays are a great time to celebrate with family. They can also be incredibly stressful. The cooking, the cleaning, the cooking..... the anxiety over a well prepared dish...so this year my family and I decided enough was enough and decided to spend Thanksgiving, at least, at The Peninsula.
So far we have been nothing but impressed.
The Lobby and The Avenues have been incredible with their presentation and preparation of food. Terry Crandell, the Executive Chef has prepared an amazing feast of both traditional Thanksgiving fare and unique dishes such as Oysters. The desserts look even better. Jimmy MacMillan, the Peninsula's Executive Pastry Chef has developed a menu of decadent sweets and cakes to tempt even the most calorie conscious diner.
Leaving no detail unattended there is even a strolling musician to amuse children.
Now, I just need to convince everyone into Christmas dinner here.
