O'Bryonville has made a dramatic shift from the place I knew years ago. When I had friends that lived there, it had a mostly African American population, except for some of the houses further back on Grandin Road. Like most neighborhoods close to town, the demographic has changed. The older homes are being remodeled and/or replaced with newer, more luxurious housing units.

The population has changed as well. It's mostly white now, although there is still a multicultural mix. I'm not sure if it's still as family oriented as it was years ago, but it's probably a great place for young professionals to settle.

Is it a good place to raise a family? That depends on what you're looking for.

O'bryonville always been a trendy for shopping as long as I can remember. You can pass through the entire shopping district is 20 seconds. It has a limited selection of stores, but it has shops lik e Indigenous with it's handcrafted items, and people come from across town to pick up a tasty torte or a tray of expensive cookies from Bonbonerie.
