What kind of performances are hosted at Music Hall?

Years ago, some high schools used to have proms in the Topper Ballroom and organizations gave all kinds of formal dances there. These days, Music Hall is still the primary venue for Cincinnati's Ballet, Opera and Symphony.

I've also seen the Dance Theater of Harlem, a variety of Plays and Live Pop Music productions. I used to attend Great American's annual holiday events there.

Recently I attended President Obama's town hall meeting there.

Music Hall hosts a variety of performances, both public and private. For many years it was the premier entertainment venue in Cincinnati, but with the construction of the Aronoff Center for the Arts that changed; the Aronoff offers several performance halls and an art gallery that are more centrally located in Downtown Cincinnati. There are, however, still a number of events that occur at Music Hall. The Cincinnati Ballet, Cincinnati Symphony, and Cincinnati Pops all continue to offer performances at Music Hall. Music Hall has also hosted a number of popular music concerts from a variety of music genres. In addition to concerts, a ghost tour of Music Hall is offered during the summer months.
