It really depends where you are. If you are in or near Downtown Cincinnati, there are several convenient locations to apply for a passport. If it is your first time applying for a passport, you will need to make your application in person at a Passport Application Acceptance Facility.During the workweek, you can apply at the Hamilton county Clerk of Courts Office in their Auto Title Division. You can also apply at the main branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, which also accepts applications on the weekend by appointment only. Another Downtown location is Queen City Finance on Vine Street, which accepts applications Monday through Friday by appointment only. You can also go to the main post office on Dalton Avenue in Queensgate; they accept applications Monday through Friday. If you are outside of Downtown, many U.S. Post Office branches accept passport applications, but you will need to check which ones and which days and times they accept them. Usually, there is only one person at the post office branches who can process the passport applications. If you are renewing a recent, undamaged passport issued to you when over the age of 16 and you have no name change, then you can renew by mail; otherwise, you will need to apply in person at one of the Passport Application Acceptance Facilities.
