"A small neighborhood located in a shopping district"
This area includes the Aurora Mall which has recently been given world wide attention for the tragedy which took place here. It is in an area of the city which does have some family homes as well as apartments, strip malls, restaurants, and the traditional Aurora Mall surrounding it. Prior to the latest events, there have been other issues in this neighborhood, usually at the mall. The appeal of living here most likely includes the easy access to the highway, although it is often congested in this area. Construction has been going on for what seems like forever, but when they are finished it should greatly help.
The housing area is older, but nice. The apartments have been here for many years but seem to be in good condition. There is a new college just south of the area called EcoTech which is focusing on green energy and the Community College of Aurora is not too far as well, so for students it's in a good location for these schools.
There are many restaurants in the neighborhood as well as fast food places. Many different types of businesses can also be found here. Within just a few miles both southwest and northwest are some really good hospitals and 24 hour emergency care facilities.
