Clara Ave
"Quiet, diverse residential area near schools, shopping, transportation and stores"
I have long had a friend on Clara Ave. I visit him often and have become very familiar with Clara. There is a good mix of single-story and two-story homes, and the neighbors are friendly and close-knit. I often go for runs and jogs around the area, including Camaritas and Alta Loma Drive. Come Halloween time, Clara has some of the most creatively decorated homes, and the same goes for Christmas and lights on the houses. As with the general area, it is close to various SamTrans bus stops, including one with stair access on El Camino which is minutes away. The area is also great for kids to get to know each other when they go to the same school, at Buri Buri or Alta Loma. The proximity of the streets and homes gives assurance to parents and families that their kids are safe and close by. It is a quiet area where kids can play in the streets or backyards, and where parents can commute using BART, close access to the freeways, or even the SamTrans buses.
