"Mountain living at it's finest"
Coal Creek (also referred to as Coal Creek Canyon) is a gorgeous area of Colorado. Driving up the canyon has some spectacular views, shrouded with pines and Aspen trees along a narrow, sometimes winding road. My cousin lived up the canyon and it was always a pleasure to drive up and see her. Some of the homes are located on acreage and have incredible views of the surrounding mountains. As the elevation here is higher than Denver, you can really feel the temperature difference as you go up the canyon.
Along the way there is a great little coffee shop where the people are incredibly friendly and have some pretty fast service. The neighborhood seems to be very close knit, especially for the homes being sometimes quite a distance from eacher other.
