Any thoughts on 34th street in Creston-Kenilworth, Portland? Traffic? Safety?

We're looking at possibly living near 34th and SE Cora - and don't know the neighborhood - Is t walkable to parks, shopping? Is there easy transit to downtown? All advice would be very much appreciated.
