"an affluent family neighborhood nestled in the heart of Northeast Dallas"
Devonshire is an affluent neighborhood in Dallas, Texas, that is bordered by Lemmon Avenue to the south and the Dallas North Tollway on the east. This is an excellent neighborhood for families with children and it has much to offer singles as well.
This is a tight-knit neighborhood with friendly neighbors and plenty of things to do during the day and after dark. For those who love to eat out, there are a myriad of choices and cuisines to choose from, mostly on Lovers Lane on the southern border of the neighborhood. You can indulge in delicious Middle East cuisine at the Cafe Istanbul Turkish and Mediterranean Restaurant or dive into a huge plate of ribs at Sonny Bryan's Barbeque, one of Dallas' favorites for decades. Or by driving north for a short distance on the North Dallas Tollway you can check out the Belt Line area of Addison, with the largest concentration of fine dining in the county.
For the wives, there are plenty of shopping destinations, starting with Preston Center, and just east of that is Northpark Mall, which boasts several high-end shops such as Nordstrom's and Neiman Marcus.
Devonshire is a relatively quiet urban neighborhood ideal for raising a family.
