"Downtown, Houston"
Houston’s downtown neighborhood is one of the most urban areas in the city. This area has a lot to offer residents and tourists. There is constant renovation going on in the downtown area. Over the past few years this area has been completely revitalized. There have long been apartment offering in central downtown near the Main Street area. Some of the oldest offerings are near the Minute Maid ballpark. At night downtown Houston comes alive. There are terrific restaurants and nightlife in this area. Restaurants like Sambuca’s offer nightly musical acts, as well as, delectable menus. The city’s newest park, Discovery Green has brought a lot of life to this downtown area. The park hosts events throughout the week for residents to enjoy. On the weekend you will find musical offerings in the park. This area is also one of education and the arts. The University of Houston is situated in this location. A new shopping center and bookstore are great additions to this area. Here you will find dining and entertainment offerings. The House of Blues is one of the most popular here. New townhouses have been built in a high-rise building overlooking the park. The theater district is one of the attractions to visit in this downtown area.

"The Heart of Houston"
This is the heart of the city of Houston. It is definitely a businessman's dream. There are plenty of offices and some dining facilities. However, there are not many retail stores. I would recommend eating at Sambucca's Jazz cafe or The Aquarium. There are wonderful musical and theatrical venues here for those who like the arts.
