Harlem security?

Depends on how you carry yourself, your reputation, etc. Unless that area has been gentrified already its a very close-knit community and everybody knows everybody. They will notice an outsider and most likely try to feel you out . If you keep ya money, and status on the low you'll be fine. P.S. its highly unlikely you will be mugged just a few homeless people here and there.
