I like this quaint neighborhood in Brooklyn. I thought that it was really easily accessible, the people were friendly, the housing was plentiful, and it lacked the pretension of Manhattan. There's just something really calm and nice about living in Brooklyn, especially during the Fall. If you're thinking of moving to Brooklyn, something you might consider having is a car, especially if you're not planning to commute to Manhattan for work. It might be kind of difficult for you to get around within the borough.
