How safe is the East Falls area to live in?

East Falls is a lot safer than many other areas of the city. Being totally honest, the neighborhood has seen some robberies recently but the majority were non-residential. The usual precautions are in order: walking in pairs after the sun goes down, locking windows and doors when you aren't at home, making sure cars are locked and there are no visible valuables when unattended.
