The schools in East Fishkill are pretty good. It's in the Wappingers Central School District and you've got all levels of education taken care of -- preschool, elementary, middle/junior high, and high school. You also have some private school options here as well.
GreatSchools gives this town's schools an overall rating of 7/10, and apparently these are based upon the test scores, which should inspire some level of confidence in parents who might want to send their kids to school here.
I've also heard that some of the schools offer great extracurriculars; for example, a friend of mine went to John Jay High School and raved about their drama club. I also know that school athletics here are pretty strong, especially at the high school level.
