Looking at a home directly next to the rail line. is it worth it? Noise?
My wife and I are looking at home in the entire Mt. Airy section, but a home directly next to the Chestnut Hill East line has popped up and appeals to us. The only thing not appealing is the rail line appears to be approximately 50-75 away from the back of the home. We intend on viewing the home to get the 1st hand experience of trains passing by but I'm wondering if anyone has experience this close to the rail and their opinions.
