I once heard an amusement park rumor for the Dutchess Mall site in Fishkill; will it ever happen?

Granted, this was a long time ago, maybe about a decade, but there were things mentioned in newspapers if I recall correctly. Will larger amusement parks ever come to this area, even if not in Fishkill?
