Would you recommend the Forest Knolls neighborhood in San Francisco for singles?

I usually avoid questions like these since they are so subjective, but it's been my experience that this neighborhood is much more family-oriented than a hot spot for singles. The closest "single-friendly" areas would be the commercial area of the Sunset on Taraval, West Portal, and over the hill The Mission is always a hot spot for locals.
