"A small mobile home park on the northeastern side of Aurora"

Friendly Village is a small mobile home park located on the northeastern side of Aurora. Because of it's locating there isn't much traffic in the area. Airport Blvd. is the busiest street here and can get a little crowded during rush hour, but for the most part it's smooth sailing. The overall area has a quieter feel to it since it's so far out, but there is also less amenities in the area. A little ways up Airport there is a McDonalds, but that's about it. To get to a good restaurant you'd have to drive about 10 minutes, which isn't bad.

There are a combination of mobile home types here, both single and double wide (there may be larger ones I haven't noticed). As with many mobile home parks, there are some that are well tended and some that aren't. Overall, I'd have to say this one is probably pretty average.

One nice thing about this neighborhood is it's close proximity to I-70 and the E-470 Tollway. It is also close to a really great sports park which is just down Colfax a little farther to the east. It has soccer fields, baseball fields, concession stands, playgrounds and more, all of which are really well taken care of. There is also a golf course nearby.

The schools in this area are all pretty standard and meet state testing guidelines. There are often children seen around this neighborhood, so it seems like an okay place for young families who may be starting out, or for those looking for a cheaper place to live.
