Is Garfield Park in Chicago walkable? Can I walk to everything or do I need a car?

Garfield Park is overall very walkable. You can generally get where you need to, though 290 runs right through it, so that makes it a bit less of a walkable neighborhood. Still, the park is in the middle, which is good, as that's a place to focus on anyways.
