Is Garfield Ridge in Chicago a safe neighborhood?

Normally I'd say the area around Midway isn't very nice or safe, but Garfield Ridge is actually pretty safe. It's on the Northwest side of Midway, which is a lot better than the Southeast side.

Yes, it is a very safe neighborhood. In fact, the Garfield Ridge neighborhood is well-known for its active neighborhood watch programs, which many residents participate in.
